It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading this week.
It’s hosted by Kathryn at Bookdate.
Last week was incredibly busy on Clues and Reviews. I managed to read seven titles over the past week and have been working to organize my TBR pile. I also made an exciting announcement with Chelsea over at The Suspense Is Thrilling Me about our online book club! If you missed it, check it out HERE! We are so excited and are hoping that as many people as possible are able to participate!
This week, I also hit my Goodreads Reading Challenge goal! I have read 202 books so far this year which surpassed my goal of 200 books!
Keep reading to see what I read last week, what I am reading now and what I plan on reading.
WHAT I HAVE BEEN READING (JULY 11- JULY 17)
I had a pretty good reading week! I read Ten Dead Comedians, an Agatha Christie retelling by Fred Van Lente. I read The Secrets She Keeps, a psychological thriller that I had been hearing lots of amazing things; I really loved that one! I was on the blog tour for two Bookouture titles: Reported Missing, the new thriller by Sarah Wray and the second novel in the Lottie Parker series, The Stolen Girls. I was also on a blog tour for Betrayal at Iga by Susan Spann. I also read The Last Place You Look and Fear the Darkness; they’ll be up on the blog shortly!
WHAT I AM CURRENTLY READING:
I am making my way through the Brigid Quinn series by Becky Masterman. I am now on the third book, A Twist of the Knife. I also started reading The Never List by Koethi Zan; I love abduction stories so I am really into this one so far. It reminds me, so far, of Final Girls by Riley Sager; it has a similar vibe. I also just started Devil’s Call by J. Danielle Dorn. I am not sure how I feel about this one yet!
WHAT’S NEXT?
I plan on reading Black Mad Wheel by Josh Malerman (I read his previous book, Bird Box, last year and LOVED it!). I also plan on reading Exquisite by Sarah Stovell and Sweet Pea by CK Skuse. I also want to mix it up so I am going to read When Dimple Met Rishi; I have heard all kinds of things about this book and it seems to be quite the conversation starter. I don’t read a lot of YA, but I feel like I want something completely different to cleanse my palette.
Well, that about wraps up what has been going on with my reading life. What are you planning on reading this week?
Happy Monday and Happy Reading!
Congrats on reaching your reading goal!

Congrats on reading 200 books already! I stopped participating in the Goodreads Challenge for various reasons…which I won’t go into.
But I do like challenging myself.
Your haul looks good…I got The Secrets She Keeps this past week. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
