Welcome to my stop for the One to Watch by Rachel Amphlett blog tour! Today, I have my review for the book and an extract from the first chapter to share!
My favourite novel in the Detective Kay series, thus far, One to Watch was different from the series previous novels. Instead of following Detective Kay as she hunts a rampant serial killer, this one honed in on one case and one dead teenager. When a teenaged girl, Sophie, is found dead at her purity party, Detective Kay arrives at the scene. Her boyfriend is arrested, her family is questioned, and as Detective Kay digs deeper and deeper into Sophie’s life, she begins to expose a web of twisted motives, religious fanatics and family secrets.
