Medea’s Curse, a mystery by Anne Buist, follows forensic psychiatrist, Natalie King, works with violent criminals. Specifically, in this novel, her clients are all women who have committed infanticide.   As she works through these women’s issues, she becomes entrenched in issues of her own as she begins receiving anonymous notes from someone. Someone who knows too much. Someone who may be putting her in danger….

Book Review: The Many (Nathan Fields)

The Many, by Nathan Fields, caught my interest right away. The concept was completely original. People go on blind dates with people from the Internet and they come back different. They are colder, cruder and mentally unstable. As they turn violent, their families are left searching for answers. Conspiracy thriller meets psychological thriller, and a bit of horror brought in, this novel had a lot to offer. I read it easily in a few sittings.

Book Review: Stasi Wolf (David Young) @djy_writer @BonnierZaffre

Stasi Wolf, the second novel in the Karin Muller series by David Young, follows Oberleutnant Karin Muller on a new case. Set in 1975 communist Germany, she must determine the identity of a child snatcher when a pair of infant twins goes missing.

I am a fan of historical fiction so when I found this historical thriller, I knew I needed to pick it up!   Equal parts police procedural and mystery; this fast paced journey had me on the edge of my seat.
